Anna Zuber

Anna completed her Master degree in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland. She also studied at École nationale supérieure d'art in Bourges, France (Erasmus exchange) and at Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Belgium. After several years of artistic career, life brought her to work as photographer and illustrator on various excavation sites in the United Arab Emirates. Passionate about work in archaeology, she continued training in 3D digitisation of cultural heritage completing several courses in photogrammetry, 3D modelling and 3D reconstruction of heritage sites.

Aspirations within the project

Anna considers the CHANGE project as a great opportunity in her career.  Fascinated about fieldwork on archaeological sites, she sees the need to develop her educational and research skills in order to be able to fully exploit her potential in work in cultural heritage field. She believes the holistic 3D documentation and interdisciplinary approach are the key for sustainable care and long term preservation of cultural heritage assets.

ESR14: Enrichment of 3D volumetric data with metadata and semantics

Development of a web-platform for the holistic e-documentation of 3D cultural heritage objects, and their enrichment with metadata, paradata and semantics:

  • Para-data of the acquisition technologies and historical and archaeological evidence of CH objects.
  • Argumentation leading to virtual reconstruction and discussing alternatives with the object owners/ stakeholders.
  • Connection of physical and social-historical, constructive, functional, aesthetic and environmental parameters, etc. with 3D/4D documentation of CH objects
